The set consists of two metal guides made of high grade stainless steel, one for blades under 15 cm in length and one for blades over 15 cm in length.
The guides help you with maintaining the right angle for sharpening. they also have plastic protection. With the assistance of these “guides” sharpening a 301 knife with the 301 whetstone becomes so simple that even beginners can quickly master the technique.
