The AUS-8 steel is best suited for making this kind of knives, with molybdenum contained in it preventing corrosion, and vanadium improving resistance to high temperatures. Even a very frequent manipulation of this knife will entail no deterioration in performance. High strength and optimum hardness of 59 HRC guarantee a long service life.
