Niche is a futuristic centerpiece featuring five different pieces that can be used alone or altogether in a single composition. Niche bowl’s shape features the characteristic design language of Zaha Hadid, it is is pleasing to the eye, and compelling to touch.

The composition of formally complex pieces results in a unique and graceful dovetail effect. As soon as you see Niche you want to take a piece in your hands so you can feel what to the eye appears to be an attractive, sinuous and velvety object.

It can be used as a receptacle for sweets or chocolates, or placed on a desk to hold office stationery and pens. But the true value of the Niche bowl is the fact that it is a domestic a sculpture for domestic featuring the design signature of one of the most important contemporary architects.

Niche is produced from black melamine and has a smooth, matte finish that makes the pieces pleasing to touch. An image of the composition, designed to act as a guide, is found underneath the base of the object together with the Officina Alessi logo and the name of the designer.
