The Bold table (agewood oak), designed by Daniele Lago, challenges the force of gravity with a surprising effect of asymmetrical suspension. The magic is in the shadow, a physical black element that sidesteps the presence of a base.

The ultra-thin table top is supported by a single off-centre, counterbalanced leg that lends total stability to the design, thanks to its rigorous engineering. The absence of bulky legs removes all barriers between diners, amplifying the feeling of conviviality and making sharing the design’s strong point.

The heat –treated oak of the strong, thin table top in agedwood lends warmth to design. The smooth surface reveals wood grain in distinctive tonal gradations.
