The Skitsch 2D LED Lamp is an utterly minimalist LED Lamp inspired by the hand sketch of an archetypal traditional lamp.

It was designed by young and innovative German design studio DING3000 for Italian label Skitsch  and comes in three different versions, as floor lamp, table lamp, or pendant lamp. By employing cutting edge LED technology DING3000 designers kept the body of the 2D lamp as thin as is possible. In conjunction with the inconspicuous strips of bright LED lights the Skitsch 2D LED Lamp assumes the appearance of a sketched line with bright illuminated slices. Audi e-bike Worthersee

Audi recently unveiled the stunning Audi e-bike Wörthersee, a performance oriented electric bike intended for sports, stunts and trick cycling.

This highly advanced e-bike features a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) frame and 26-inch “audi ultra blade” wheels made from the same exotic material. The use of superlight materials allowed the German automakers to create an e-bike weighting just under 21 kilos! It is equipped with a 2.3kW electric motor that uses a lithium-ion battery with a 2.5 hour charge-up time. With just 9,13 kilos per kilowatt the Audi e-bike Wörthersee has a record breaking power to weight ratio.

The Magento Lamp is a stylish and super flexible lamp designed by Italian designer Giulio Iacchetti for Foscarini, the heart of the design is a magnetic sphere.

Sleek and sophisticated it is available in either table lamp version or floor lamp version and is perfect to be used as a reading lamp. Unlike conventional lamps that have stiff necks or multiple pivot points, the Magento lamp uses a magnetic ball allows the light fixture to move and pivot freely into any direction. A series of dimples on the base’s vertical arm stop the ball from just rolling off its base. The force of magnetism joins the two elements of which it is made, the light source housing and the base, in a simple practical way which defines its elegant, minimalist form.

The Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari is now officially open in Modena, Italy. Unlike the nearby Ferrari Museum in Maranello, this awesome museum is dedicated to the man behind the iconic brand and not to the cars themselves.

The museum facility is an interesting blend of old and new, technology and tradtion. It is located near the Maserati plant and incorporates the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari himself, as well as his workshop, combined with a futuristic new building designed by Future Systems. The museum’s new building was designed by architect Jan Kaplický, who died before its completion, and Andrea Morgante, who completed the project.Its roof resembles the shape of a race car hood, while the characteristic roof windows are inspired by the air intake vents found on Ferrari racing cars….
