Grip Serving Tray

The Grip by Joseph Joseph is a highly functional, non-slip serving tray designed to keep glasses, cutlery and plates safely in place during their journey from kitchen to table.

Its distinctive, high-grip surface is formed from an array of smooth rubber studs that are molded through the base of the tray. Made from high-quality ABS plastic, the tray has deep sides and large carry handles, along with a rubber underside, making it suitable for use as a lap tray if you feel like eating on the couch or having a snack in bed. For ease of cleaning it is dishwasher safe.

Empty Memory USB Stick by Logical Art

The Empty Memory USB Sticks by London based Logical Art are essentially digital  jewelries based on the idea to make invisible technology visually attractive.

These awesome looking USB sticks were designed and crafted by Hanhsi Chen and Yookyung Shin. The designers consider the Empty Memory collection as their first response to a long quest. Sharing a common vision of combining technology, craftsmanship and aesthetics, they ponder over one question: “what will happen if technology becomes invisible”. The answer is an “empty space” symbolizing this invisible technology. The collection includes two different designs: Structure and Transparency, which are the results of two different design approaches on same core concept, one by each designer.

Atmospheric Art Installations by ISO Hirofu / Komainu

Tokyo based artist ISO Hirofu / Komainu creates breathtaking art installations triggered by the banal events of everyday life. His creations are dark, seductive and decidedly atmospheric.

For the solo exhibition titled “Nighthopper” ISO Hirofu / Komainu, also known as “Komainu”, attempts to reconstruct events that take place during the dark nights and translate them into artworks.  According the artist a boundary can be a contact point as well as a dividing tool. Then, it can also be a place or an event. The main piece of the show, the installation “Days in Nights” has its roots at the boundary and contact point between “day and night”, “city and outer city” and “self and others”. This installation, which embodies his concept, consists of fluorescent lighting fittings placed in star shape on the ceiling. The painted insects are attached to the chains hung from those fittings.

SUM shelves by Peter Marigold for SCP

The SUM Shelves are a modular wall mounted asymmetrical shelving system made in solid cherry or walnut with brass fixings. They look stunning and offer unique flexibility.

These stylish modular shelving units were designed and developed by Peter Marigold and eventually found their way to the assembly line of British furniture manufacturer SCP. SUM Shelves come as a set of three, with the individual shelves in three sizes, designed to fit together in an infinite number of ways. Each sized piece is different in shape, with three of the four sides featuring a groove that allows for flexible configuration. The idea with SUM is that it can be built up to any size, depending on the wall or location it is placed in.
